Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government has decided to open ten branches of Bangladesh Cooperatives Bank across the country for strengthening the rural economy and supporting members of farm cooperatives by reaching them loans at grass roots level.
The new branches would be opened at all divisional cities and Comilla, Gazipur and Narayanganj district towns.
This was revealed at a meeting held at the LGRD and Cooperatives Ministry with State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Jahangir Kabir Nanak in the chair, an official statement said.
