Bangladesh capital Dhaka turned into red and green on Tuesday as the nation is celebration the historic victory of Bangladesh cricket team over England to reach the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
People from all walks of life specially the student of Dhaka University came out to the streets wielding the red and green national flags and tying badges on the foreheads.
Meanwhile, leaders and activists of ruling Awami Leagues and BNP also brought out processions to celebrate Tigers’ victory.
Earlier on Monday night, the BNP-led 20-party alliance has relaxed its ongoing general strike for 12 hours from 6:00am Tuesday to celebrate the Tigers’ victory.
The indefinite blockade of the alliance which began from January 5 however is going on.
