Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading started with a positive note on the Dhaka Stock Exchange Tuesday, the first session of the New Year as the prices of most of the stocks are in the rising trend.
After first 30 minutes of trading, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange stands at 4,234.63 points, adding 15.31 points or 0.36.
Turnover value, however, slow and stands at BDT 194 million till the report was filed at about 11am.
Of the issues traded, 82 advanced, 37 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
National Bank topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 21.30 million changing hands.
Earlier, on Sunday, DGEN gained 14 points.
