Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Janata Bank, Pubali Bank and Rupali Bank have started money transfer services of Western Union at all the branches across the country.
The Western Union network in Bangladesh has extended its activities at over 7,200 agent locations. The agents include banks, non-government organizations (NGOs) and the Bangladesh Post Office, a press statement said.
According to Bangladesh Bank, remittance flows into Bangladesh reached $11 billion in the 2009-2010 fiscal, surging by 13.25 per cent from the previous fiscal.
