Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Three lakh people will sing the national anthem together on March 26 at the National Parade Ground in the capital Dhaka marking the country's Independence Day.
The decision was taken on Monday to get Bangladesh listed with the Guinness World Records by gathering the largest choir to sing the national anthem.
A meeting of the coordination committee, headed by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor and comprising the Armed Forces Division (AFD), was held at the ministry in Dhaka, according to reports.
Earlier, Bangladesh set a Guinness World Record with the creation of the world's largest human national flag using 27,117 people though an initiative of Robi Axiata Limited and Bangladesh Army.
