Three maritime ports asked to hoist signal No 3

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Mongla have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three, a met office special bulletin said on Saturday.

“Due to strong monsoon, steep pressure gradient persists over North Bay. Sea will remain moderate. Squally weather may continue over North Bay and the maritime ports,” Bangladesh Metrological Department said in the bulletin.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to proceed with caution till further notice, the bulletin added.
