Towhidul Alam joins Al-Arafah Islami Bank as DMD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Kazi Towhidul Alam joined Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) on Saturday.

Prior to his new job, he was senior executive vice-president and local office head of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, a press statement said.

After completing bachelor of commerce (honours) and masters of commerce in accounting from Chittagong University, Towhidul started his banking career with the then Arab Bangladesh Ltd in 1983.

During his career, Towhidul also worked with Bank of Credit & Commerce International (Overseas) Limited (BCCI), Banque Indosuez and Eastern Bank Limited.
