Trading at DSE resumes with negative mode

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) resumed with negative mode at 11:30 instead of 11:00 after a day’s suspension.

The benchmark Dhaka Stock General Exchange Index (DGEN) dropped by 106.31   points or 2.18 percent and stood at 4757.99 till filing of the report at 12:25 pm (local time).

Out of 235 issues traded, 19 were positive, 209lost and seven remain unchanged, the DSE data showed.

Trading at DSE was suspended for Tuesday for the interest of the capital market and investors, a DSE official told BBN.
