Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Pro-strike activists set fire to a train at Mymensingh and hurled a crude bomb at a police station in the country’s northern Rajshahi on Tuesday evening.

However, now injuries were reported from the arson, a railway official told The Daily Star, a local newspaper.

In Rajshahi, constable Firoz Ahmed was injured as criminals hurled a cocktail at Boalia Police Station around 8:25pm.

The injured was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
He is out of danger, according to the newspaper report.

Md Moniruzzaman, commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), visited the spot immediately after the incident and blamed Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir activists for the attack.
