Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Business Institute of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) recently arranged a short training course on “Export Marketing Management & Documentation’. 
Twenty one participants from different business organizations as well as individuals on their own expenses took part in the course.
Coordinating Director of DBI Standing Committee and Former Vice President of DCCI Kh. Shahidul Islam who attended the certificate-giving ceremony of the training course as the chief guest said that export marketing means exporting goods to other countries of the world. 
He has said that export marketing is more complicated than domestic marketing due to international restrictions, global competition, international logistics, transportation management, lengthy customs procedures and formalities.
He said that one should be careful at the time of exporting about 5Rs, namely – right purchase, right price, right production, right time and right quality. 
On behalf of the participants Mamoonur Rahman, assistant manager (commercial), Hamko Corporation Ltd expressed great happiness in getting a lot of useful knowledge, tools and techniques and valued information within a short period from the course.
Executive Director of DBI Md. Hossain Ali thanked the participants for their positive evaluation and valuable comments adding that these will be taken into consideration in future. 
He also stressed that their learning will be effective only if they apply their acquired knowledge in their day-to-day activities and enhance their skills. 
The Course was coordinated by Tamanna Sultana, Assistant Secretary (Training), DBI. At the end, certificates were distributed among the participants by the chief guest.
