Travel by Maitree Express made easier

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Indian Railway and Bangladesh Railway have implemented a system of issuing return journey tickets on Maitree Express.

The system will come into effect from May 16, an Indian High Commission press statement said in Dhaka on Tuesday.

“With this, passengers in Bangladesh would now be able to purchase return tickets for all classes of travel in Maitree Express from Kolkata to Dhaka from the ticket counters in Dhaka and vice versa. The return journey tickets would be available from 30 days upto 2 days before the date of journey, excluding the journey date,” it noted.
