Treasury bill yields rise in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh held auction for BDT 6.5 billion in Bangladesh Government Treasury Bills this week, treasury officials said.

The auctions were for 91-Days and 364-Days Treasury Bills, conducted on April 3 last. The implicit yields for the tenors increased by 20 and 15 basis points respectively.

An auction of a 10-year Bangladesh Government Treasury Bond was held on April 5 this year where the implicit yield remained unchanged at 9.45 percent.
