Treasury bond yield declines in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 7.30 billion in bills and BDT 1.25 billion in bonds this week, treasury officials said.

The auction for 30-Day Bangladesh Bank bills was conducted on August 24 last. The implicit yield against the respective tenor was 1.00 percent.

An auction of 20-year Treasury bond was held on August 25 where the implicit yield declined by 38 basis points to close at around 8.59 percent.
