Treasury securities’ yields increase in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 6.6 billion in Bangladesh Government Treasury Bills (BGTB) this week, officials said. 
 
The auction was for 182-day and 364-day Treasury Bills conducted on July 25 last. The implicit yield for the 182-day tenor increased by 3 basis points to 3.55 percent, while that of the 364-day tenor increased by 1 basis point to 4.26 percent.
An auction of 20-year BGTB was held on July 27 this year. The implicit yield for the tenor increased by 5 basis points to 9.20 percent.
