Treasury securities’ yields increase slightly in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 6.0 billion in Bangladesh Government Treasury Bills (BGTB) this week, treasury officials said.  

The auctions for 182-day and 364-day Treasury Bills were conducted on Feb.14 and Feb. 18 this year respectively.

The weighted average yield for 364-day bills increased by 02 basis points to 4.64 percent while that of 182-day bills remained unchanged at 3.56 percent, auction results said.

An auction of a 5-Year BGTB was held on Feb. 16 where the implicit yield increased by 01 basis points to 7.82 percent.
