Treasury securities’ yields increases in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 3.0 billion in Bangladesh Government Treasury Bills (BGTB) in the last week, treasury official said.

The auction for 182-day Treasury Bills was conducted on February 28 last. Weighted average yield for the tenor increased by 1 basis point to 3.57 percent.
An auction of a 10-year BGTB was held on March 2 this year where the implicit yield increased by 2 basis points to 8.77 percent.
