Treasury yields decline in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 6.5 billion in Treasuries this week, treasury officials said.

 The auctions for 91-day and 364-day Treasury bills were conducted on July 12 last.

The implicit yields against the respective tenors were 2.15 percent and 5.71 percent. The yield for 91-day declined by 39 basis points while that for 364-day bills decreased by 19 basis points.

An auction of 15-year Treasury Bond was also held on July 14 where the implicit yield declined by 70 basis points to 9.39 percent.
