Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 12.00 billion in Treasuries this week, treasury officials said.   

The auctions for 91-day, 182-day and 364-day Treasury bills were conducted on July 5 last. The implicit yields against the respective tenors were 2.54 percent, 4.04 percent and 5.42 percent.

The yield for 91-day, 182-day and 364-day bills declined by 48 basis points, 20 basis points and 57 basis points respectively.

An auction of 10-year Treasury Bond was also held on July 7 where the implicit yield declined by 60 basis points to 9.45 percent.
