Treasury yields fall in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 4.0 billion in Treasuries this week.

The Bangladesh Bank held auctions of Treasury Bills worth BDT 5.00 billion this week.

The auctions for 91-day and 182-day Treasury bills were conducted on June 28 last, treasury officials said.
 
The implicit yields against the respective tenors were 3.02% and 4.24%. The yield for 91-day bill declined by 45 basis points while that of 182-day bills declined by 116 basis points.
