Treasury yields jump in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh held auctions for BDT 2.5 billion in Bangladesh Government Treasury Bills (BGTB) in the last week.

The auction was for 182-days Treasury Bills conducted on December 5 this year. The implicit yield for 182-days bills increased by 24 basis points to 4.74 percent.
 
An auction of 10-Year Bangladesh Government Treasury Bonds was held December 7 last. The implicit yield for the tenor increased by 60 basis points to 9.50 percent.
