Tremor jolts Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Tremor jolted different parts of Bangladesh on Wednesday evening after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Burma.
According to US Geological Survey, the epicentre was 74 kilometres southeast of Mawlaik in Burma, officially known as Myanmar
People in the capital felt the tremor at 7:55pm (local time).
No report of any casualty or damage was received from anywhere in Bangladesh till filing of this report at 9:42pm.
