Trophy of T20 World Cup 2014 unveiled

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- After successfully hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Bangladesh is now taking preparation to host the ICC T20 World Cup 2014.
On the occasion, trophy of the T20 World Cup was unveiled on Saturday during the launching ceremony of the ICC World Twenty20 2014 Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka. 
International Cricket Council (ICC) vice president AHM Mustafa Kamal, media manager Colin Gibson, Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, Bangladesh national team skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and national women's team member Sathira Zakir were present in the ceremony.
Fresh from his man of the series performances for Bangladesh in Sri Lanka, Mushfiqur said "The atmosphere around the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 (which Bangladesh co-hosted) was special but I am sure that the ICC World Twenty20 will generate even more excitement and passion among our supporters. This event pushes Bangladesh cricket onto the world stage again and I am sure our players will rise to the occasion.
The Tigers skipper said this at a press conference held after the ceremony.
National eve team cricketer Sathira Zakir said they are playing good cricket and their development is going faster although they got the ODI status only one and half years ago.
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon added that the excitement around Bangladesh is already building for the event.
He said: "The logo launch tonight has attracted a lot of attention around the country and, as in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, we expect that ticket demands will come from every nook and cranny around the country. It may well be that we need to increase the capacity of some stadiums to try and meet the demand to be a part of this event.
ICC Vice President AHM Mustafa Kamal said: "As a Bangladeshi, I am delighted that the ICC World Twenty20 is coming to my country for the first time. Bangladesh has a great record for delivering world-class events and I know that the ICC will work closely with my friends and former colleagues at the Bangladesh Cricket Board to make this event a success."
The ICC World Twenty20 2014 will be played from March 16 to April 6 in 2014 and is scheduled for four venues around Bangladesh. 
The ICC World Twenty20 2014 logo will be released at a gala event held in a city's hotel this evening. The logo will capture the colour, energy and vibrancy of Bangladesh.
