Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Seven Circle Bitumen and Edible Oil Limited has formally launched its two edible oil brands- Veola Soybean Oil and Olein Vegetable Oil in Bangladesh. 
Commerce Minister Ghulam Muhammed Quader, MP as the chief guest inaugurated the products at city hotel on Monday. 
Production of the edible oil already began few days ago at the company’s newly established refinery at Mongla in Bagerhat district with daily capacity of 1000 metric tones. 
Veola (soybean) and Olien (palm oil) is available in the market now and will be supplied in full swing in the coming holy month Ramadan, officials said.
Seven Circle Bitumen and Edible Oil Ltd is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Shun Shing Group. The company is a well known name in cement arena but now it is diversifying the business and entered into edible oil market. 
The commerce minister urged the oil company authorities to ensure healthy quality of the edible oil, and healthy environment in refining it. While the company officials assured of doing so.
Wishing success of the oil refinery, he hoped that it will create a sound competition in the country’s market ensuring benefits for the consumers.
