Two more cases of swine flu confirmed, total now 32

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh confirmed two more cases of the deadly Influenza A (H1N1) virus on Monday, taking the total cases to 32, health officials confirmed on Tuesday.

“Two new cases of swine flu were detected on Monday,” Head of the country's Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) under the Health Ministry Mahmudur Rahman said in the capital, Dhaka.

Dr. Rahman, the government spokesperson on swine flu, said of the 32 cases detected so far, 28 recovered fully and the other four were under supervision of the health directorate at their respective homes and kept isolated from family members.
 
The first case of Swine Flu was identified in Bangladesh on June 18 this year.

The government has urged people not to be panicked about swine flu as it has taken precautionary steps to combat the infectious disease.
