Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- United Nations youth envoy Ms. Monique Coleman called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office in the capital on Tuesday.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest and exchanged views regarding possibilities of improving relationship between the youths of Bangladesh and the United Nations (UN), a DU press statement said.
The vice-chancellor emphasized the connection of young people with the UN which offer them inspiration, hope and tools to cope with the global issues and problems.
As a part of missions to meet young leaders of different countries and cultures recently appointed UN youth champion for the international year of youth Coleman met the VC.
