Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)– Unilever Bangladesh has awarded scholarship to the brilliant children of the employees and officers of the company recently.
The awards were given to those who have scored brilliant marks in the HSC examination for 2011, Secondary School Certificate Exam, Junior School Certificate Exam, Primary and their equivalent examinations 2012.
On the occasion of offering scholarships and cash awards a reception program was organized at the company’s Chittagong factory premises at Kalurghat heavy industrial area in the city on Tuesday.
Human Resources director Jerry Jose handed over the prizes and crests to the awardees as chief guest while factory human resources manager Kazi Saiful Islam, employees union president Salim Enayet, secretary Abdul Jalil Mandal also spoke. The programme was conducted by personnel services manager Md Shahabuddin.
Jerry Jose in his address said the children who have scored brilliant results will also do better in the rest of the academic career. The guardians of the students and all officials, employees and management of Unilever BD Ltd feel pride to honour them at this august ceremony.
