Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – United Airways celebrates five years of its service on Tuesday. On this day in 2007 the largest private airline in Bangladesh started its operation with its maiden flight from Dhaka to Sylhet.
United Airways is the first ever public limited company in aviation sector of Bangladesh. It has operated 29,000 flights and carried 9,25,000 passengers in the last five years, the company said.
It took to the skies with a slogan ‘Fly Your Own Airline’ and has been providing committed services ever since. Since its inception, United Airways received positive market response and presently holds a major share of the domestic, regional and international market, it added.
