Update: Toxic liquor kills 10 in Northeastern Bangladesh

Sylhet, Bangladesh (BBN) - At least ten people died and three other hospitalized after consuming toxic liquor in the country’s northeastern Sylhet district in last 24 hours till Saturday.
Officer-in-charge of Osmani Nagar Police Station Nirmalendu Chakravarty about 15 to 20 people consumed the poisonous liquor at Paschim Goalabazar between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon and fell sick within the next few hours. 
Two of the deceased died at MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital Friday afternoon and five others including the seller of the liquor Goyesh Miah on Saturday, according to reports. 
Three more people died at different villages in the area early Saturday.
