Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena is going to Narail, Magura, Jhenidah, Chuadanga, Meherpur and Kushtia on a five-day visit beginning from May 11.
The visit is a continuation of the ambassador’s pledge to visit all 64 districts of Bangladesh.
The ambassador will meet local government officials, police superintendents and civil society during the tour of the districts and will pay visit to some of the cultural and historical sites of the region, a US embassy press statement said in Dhaka on Saturday.
He will place a wreath at the Mujibnagar Memorial Complex where the Bangladesh government was formed in-exile to conduct War of Liberation in 1971.
Ambassador Mozena will also visit USAID projects, some educational institutions and a fertilizer farm.
