Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The US Dollar appreciated against the Bangladesh Taka (BDT) throughout the last week, treasury officials said.
The US dollar started the week trading as low as BDT 70.25 on Monday in direct trading. Increased demand pushed the greenback higher against the BDT throughout the week to trade as high as BDT 70.55 per USD on the last two days of the week.
