US dollar gains against BDT

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The last week saw the US Dollar (USD) further strengthening against the Bangladesh Taka (BDT), treasury officials said.

USD/BDT rate started the week’s trading at around 69.52 levels only to end the first day at around 69.5450 levels. With a BDT 0.05 depreciation, the BDT reached the low of 69.60 against the greenback on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the USD traded between the 69.57 and 69.59 range.
