US dollar gains against BDT

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The US dollar gained slightly against the Bangladesh Taka (BDT) in the inter-bank foreign exchange market on Thursday due manly to higher demand for the greenback for settlement of import payment bills.

The US dollar was quoted at BDT 76.2850 – BDT 76.3500 in the inter-bank foreign exchange market on the day against BDT 76.2400 – BDT 76.2900 of the previous working day, according to the central bank statistics.
