Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The US dollar has continued to gain against Bangladesh Taka (BDT) for four days in a row mainly due to short supply of the greenback in the inter-bank foreign exchange market, officials said.
The US dollar was quoted at BDT 69.7500-BDT 69.7950 in the inter-bank foreign exchange market on Thursday against BDT 69.7200-BDT 69.7500 of the previous working day, market operators confirmed.
On Monday, the US dollar was quoted at BDT 69.6600-BDT 69.6950 in the forex market.
