US dollar gains further against BDT

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The US dollar gained against the Bangladesh Taka (BDT) further in the inter-bank foreign exchange market on Wednesday due manly to higher demand for the greenback for settlement of import payment bills.

The US dollar was quoted at BDT 76.3500– BDT 76.3900 in the inter-bank foreign exchange market on the day against BDT 76.2850 – BDT 76.3500 of the previous working day, according to the central bank statistics.
