US embassy to remain closed on Thursday on the occasion of Bengali New Year’s day

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The American Embassy, including the Consular Section and the American Center with the Archer K. Blood American Center Library and the Student Advising Center, will remain closed on Thursday (April 14) on the occasion of Bengali New Year’s Day, a Bangladeshi national holiday.

“Emergency services for American citizens will be available”, a US embassy press statement said in Dhaka on Tuesday.
