US-South Korean company to invest $2.5 million in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- M/s Apparels JB21 Limited, a USA-South Korea joint venture company, will set up a garments manufacturing factory in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) of Bangladesh.
The company will invest US$2.50 million for setting up the unit and produce about 1.0 million pieces of different types of garments items.
In this connection, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Apparels JB21 in the capital Dhaka on Thursday.
Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Sayed Nurul Islam and Managing Director of M/s Apparels JB21 Insuk Bae signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
