US stocks gain Wednesday

New York, NY (BBN)– U.S. stocks ended a seesaw day with a modest gain on Wednesday as retailers continued reporting second-quarter earnings and investors found a few positives.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 9.69 Points or 0.1 percent to 10,415.54 while the Nasdaq composite index added 6.26 points or 0.3 percent to 2,215.70, according to reports.
