Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- U.S. stocks ended the week in greens, according to reports.
Wall Street rallied to nearly a five-month high on Tuesday on growing conviction that Central Banks will do even more to bolster struggling economies worldwide.
The Dow Jones industrial average gained 193.45 points or 1.80 percent while the Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 55.31 points or 2.36 percent in one day.
Over the week, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 132.37 points or 1.22 percent. The Nasdaq Composite Index added 4.10 points or 0.17 percent over the same period.
Asian stocks edged up to a two-year high on Thursday but gains were capped as the USD held near a fresh 15-year low against the JPY before a U.S. jobs report on Friday.
The Nikkei 225 index ended the week at 9,684.81, adding 315.46 points or 3.37 percent over the previous week.
