Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – US markets edged lower on declines in the aviation sector.  Bleak travel demand forecasts and further delays in the first flight of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner saw the Dow lose 16.10 points to 8,322.91.

The Nikkei traded at 9,540.49, down 0.10 percent as Japanese exports continued to decline.  Exports in May declined 40.9 percent over the same period last year, according to reports.

The US Dollar (USD) touched a three week low against the Yen (JPY), reflecting market expectations that the Federal Reserve would keep the benchmark rate steady at 0.25 percent.  USD fell as low as 94.88 against JPY.
