Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The US Dollar (USD) climbed up to a six month high against the Euro (EUR) of 1.3999 on late trading on Wednesday.

US stocks rose after the Federal Reserve said it would keep interest rates near zero. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 41.87 points or 0.41 percent, to end at 10,236.16. The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 17.68 points or 0.8 percent to 2,221.41.

The benchmark Nikkei in Japan gained 0.6 percent or 57.65 points and went up to 10,309.73 on Thursday. It was lifted by shares of exporters on improving earnings, according to reports.
