Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The US Dollar (USD) rose against most major currencies as Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin reflected confidence in the currency, refuting earlier indications that Russia would diversify away from US assets. USD rose to 1.6369 against the Pound (GBP).
The Euro (EUR) declined against the Greenback on deepening economic concerns from Germany.
EUR fell to 1.3962 against USD on statements from the German Chamber of Commerce highlighting weakening credit conditions in Europe’s industrial powerhouse, according to reports.
