Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The US Dollar (USD) gained about 0.29 percent to trade at around 87.865 Yen, the best performance in six weeks, after comments made by the Japanese Prime Minister about taking quantitative easing measures to deal with the Yen’s rise.
The Dow lost about 0.18 percent to close at 10,452.68 after reports of analysts' warnings about bank stocks hurt financial shares and a steep drop in oil weighed on energy companies. The NASDAQ Composite gained 0.42 percent to around 2,185.03.
