Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Warid, a leading telecom operator, has introduced a three in one prepaid package for their customers keeping in mind the diversified need of their subscribers.
In a single prepaid package, Warid is offering three options along with a basic product, which caters to three different but major segments of the cell phone users.
The new package was formally launched through a press conference held at a city hotel on Sunday.
“When the customers buy Warid prepaid products, the basic solution would come as the default offer and it is mainly aimed for people who do not like tariff complexity but prefers a reasonable and affordable rate”, Warid said.
However, the subscribers can switch to any of the three options offered by the package as they wish depending on their lifestyle and need just by sending an SMS request to a designated short code.
Out of these three options, ‘My Favourites’ offers 6 FnF numbers- which, according to the Warid officials, is the highest by any telecom operators in Bangladesh and is targeted at people who need to stay in touch with close-knit circle of friends and family like youths and students.
The second option, ‘Day Talker’ is for people who call most frequently during the working hours as it offers a reduced rate of 69 paisa per minute from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The third option, ‘Super Saver’ offers a day long 25 percent discount on the call rate for people who need to talk a lot all throughout the day.
A subsidiary of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Group, Warid started its operation in the country in May 2007. Currently Warid has 2.58 million subscribers all around Bangladesh.
