Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Westin Dhaka has drawn up programs to celebrate the Bangla New Year 1419 with restaurant 'Seasonal Taste' offering the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Bangladeshi cuisine with the celebration of Bangladeshi food festival.
A festive mood will prevail all around the hotel while it will be decorated in a traditional Bangali style, the hotel said in a statement.
The restaurant will serve Hilsha dishes along with other local fish curry preparations.
The traditional beverages along with chotpoti-fuchka, naru, and many other items will be available at 24 hours open restaurant treats. Traditional beverages include wood apple juice (beler sherbet), green coconut juice (daber pani), green mango juice (kacha amer shorbot), lemon juice (lebur shorbot), watermelon juice.
The Westin will also arrange Baishakhi live traditional performances, live music and snake ludu at the Living Room, horse ride and bioscope at Ground Lobby, it added.
