Bangalore, India (BBN)-A Bangalore based research organisation Children's Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) has done a survey on the attitudes of the youth in the country.
The survey was done in association with Indian Market Research Bureau, reports ibn live.com.
A total of 11,299 students from 330 high schools, 220 colleges in 11 state capitals were interviewed for the survey.
Some of the results of the survey revealed-
- 87 per cent of the students of the country believed women must accept a certain degree of violence.

- 65 per cent of the school children don't know that they are citizens of India.
- 65 per cent the youth disapprove of boys and girls of different communities meeting each other in public places.
- 74 per cent of the high school students did not know that legislature is responsible for enacting laws.
