New Delhi, India (BBN) – Rakesh Roshan said, “We have submitted our complaint with all the proof”.
The Roshans are speaking up after the family filed a comprehensive complaint against actress Kangana Ranaut, with whom Hrithik, 43, has been engaged in a public exchange of accusations and legal notices for a year-and-a-half, reports NDTV.
Kangana, 30, and Hrithik have trended ever since her alleged e-mails to him, extracted from the police complaint filed by the Roshans, were reproduced by news outlets this week.
Speaking to DNA , Rakesh Roshan said that the facts, as presented by the Roshans, are ‘shocking’ and that they don’t believe in ‘loose talk.’ Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan have been warring over an imputed romantic relationship – she says they dated, he says they didn’t, and has now accused her of stalking him.
“If you read the complaint, you will be shocked by the facts,” Rakesh Roshan told DNA , explaining that the complaint, filed by their lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani, is now in the public domain. Hrithik’s laptops and other gadgets, that could play vital roles in the investigation, have also been submitted. “We are not loose talkers. We don’t believe in making wild unsubstantiated accusations. We have submitted our complaint with all the proof,” Mr Roshan said.
The complaint was reportedly filed in April, though Kangana Ranaut’s team have dismissed it as being older. “We’ve always believed in the power of the truth. I was taught to be honest by my father and I’ve taught Hrithik the same. In this matter, the truth will be out soon,” Rakesh Roshan told DNA .
A copy of the alleged complaint, in which Hrithik Roshan has claimed that Kangana Ranaut stalked him, went viral over the weekend. In response, Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui released a lengthy statement and her sister Rangoli Chandel posted a series of tweets, telling Hrithik that Kangana has moved on.
It all began when Kangana Ranaut appeared to refer to Hrithik Roshan as a ‘silly ex’ in an interview last year. Hrithik responded with a legal notice demanding a public apology and also alleged that an imposter had been corresponding with Kangana pretending to be him.
Kangana Ranaut claims she and Hrithik Roshan began dating while filming 2009 movie Kites. They later starred in Krrish 3. Last month, while promoting her film Simran in New Delhi, Kangana spoke to several TV channels about the feud with the Roshans. She said that Hrithik and his father had made ‘fools of themselves’ and that she wanted them to apologise.
