Mirpur, Bangladesh (BBN)-The 250 partnership of Azhar and Younis helped visiting Pakistan to score 323/3 at stumps on Day one of the second Test in Mirpur of Dhaka on Wednesday.
Pakistan made the big score in 90 overs in the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka in Bangladesh.
However, Younis falls scoring 148 in the Pakistan scoreboard.
Azhar and Misbah-ul-haq remained unbeaten at the crease at the closing of the day one.
Earlier, Hafeez was removed for only eight while Sami Aslam for 19.
The five-day long second Test will continue till May 10.
Prior to beginning of the match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first.
Earlier, the first Test in Khulna was drawn. And with high hope Bangladesh now eager to seal their maiden Test victory over their senior subcontinent rivals Pakistan in the second Test.
In the first Test, Mohammad Hafeez and Tamim Iqbal made their maiden double-centuries while Imrul Kayes recorded 51 and 150 in two digs and six other batsmen registered half-centuries in the drawn first.
