Zaher, Nazrul re-elected chairman, vice chair of IBCF

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Chairman Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher and Exim Bank Chairman Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder have been re-elected chairman and vice chairman of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF).

The election to the executive committee of the forum for the year 2010 was held at the head office of Social Islami Bank Limited in the capital, Dhaka on Monday, a press statement said.

Born in Noakhali in 1948 Abduz Zaher achieved his Masters degree in English literature from the University of Rajshahi.

At present he is the chairman of IBBL and managing director of Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals Industry Limited.
