Zimbabwe celebrate early wicket

Canberra, Australia (BBN)-West Indies added Zimbabwe to their list of World Cup scalps with a magnificent 73 runs triumph in the 15th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Canberra in Australia Tuesday.

West Indies mounted the figure with the mighty feat of Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels.
Zimbabwe scored 289 runs in 44.3 overs.
The 372 runs post is World Cup 2015’s highest score so far.
With the achievement Gayle became the first cricketer who attained double century in any World Cup match in the Pool B game at Manuka Oval.
Samuels also hit 8th ODI century with his personal total.
With the combine score of Gayle and Samuels, they made history in ODI partnership also.
West Indies set 373 runs target for Zimbabwe losing two wickets in 50 overs.
West Indies exhibited their might after losing an early in the first over.
Zimbabwen bowler T Panyangara sent DR Smith back to the pavilion earlier.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first against Zimbabwe.
Both West Indies and Zimbabwe have won one and lost one game each in the world cup.
