Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The results of Ebtedayee Education Terminal Examination were published on Tuesday with 83.93 percent students coming out successful.

A total of 222,315 class V madrasa students–105,168 boys and 1,17,147 girls–passed the examinations. The success rate of boys (86.19 percent) is higher than girls (82.01 percent), according to the official statistics.

A total of 58,146 students obtained first division, while 101,030 and 63,139 secured second and third division, respectively. The number of unsuccessful students stood at 42,551.

Some 331,608 students from 11,453 madrasas got registered to appear in the first time examinations in Bangladesh. Of them, 264,865 students–122,024 boys and 1,42,841 girls–showed up.
